Welcome to the Peterborough Bird Club
The PBC was formed in 1998 by a small group of local birders. The aim of the club is to bring together all those with an interest in birds in the area and to increase their knowledge and enjoyment of birds and wildlife. We also aim raise the awareness among local people and to promote conservation.
Non members are always welcome.
Outdoor meetings are held most months, with a healthy mix of visits to both local sites and reserves further a field.
Indoor meetings run from September to April (excluding December) and are held on the last Tuesday of the month in the Post Office Sports and Social Club on Bourges Boulevard Peterborough commencing at 1930.
A club Newsletter (Limosa) is also published periodically.

To receive and submit your reports the PBC recommends using Peterbirder (click on the highlighted word to join the group). This is a free Yahoo groups site and not restricted PBC members.
Your reports can be submitted by mobile phone or computer and will E-mailed to all participants.

OSME’s Summer Meeting and AGM will be held on Saturday 1 July at BTO Headquarters, Thetford, Norfolk. Doors open 10.00 for coffee, tea and biscuits. Non-members welcome. No attendance charge.
